Job summary

Hamilton Barnes seeks a Network Engineering Manager to lead the US network team, delivering high-throughput fabric designs and multi-site data center builds. You will manage ~12 engineers, shape culture, and partner with vendors to deploy GPU-centric AI data centers.

You will own hiring, drive architectural decisions, and ensure delivery from BOM to handover, including risk management and change control. Occasional travel to Texas sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in network engineering with 3+ years in people management.
• Deep background in large-scale data center networks and fabric design.
• Experience delivering multi-site data center builds on fixed dates.
• Strong communication to report risks and architecture trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~12 network engineers across levels and mentor them.
• Own US network engineering hiring and headcount strategy.
• Foster learning through design reviews and vendor training.
• Plan capacity, travel, and on-call duties for concurrent builds.
• Deliver US network work from BOM through installation, cabling, config, and handover.
• Collaborate with PMs, construction, facilities, operations, and vendors.
• Establish change control, documentation, and acceptance testing; track metrics.
