Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity?
Join a fast-growing innovator in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing (AI HPC) infrastructure. Building next-generation digital platforms for world-class AI workloads and massive GPU clusters, the organization designs, deploys, and operates high-speed, high-density network fabrics powering mission-critical data center facilities across North America.
The company is seeking a Network Engineering Manager to lead its US-based engineering team. Combining hands-on technical authority in high-throughput fabric design with direct people management, the successful candidate will drive rapid GPU capacity deployment, oversee multi-site data center builds, shape team culture, and collaborate directly with global technical leaders and key hardware vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and develop a team of ~12 network engineers across all levels; hold regular 1:1s, set clear goals, and provide timely, actionable feedback.
- Talent Acquisition & Hiring: Own hiring for the US network engineering team, partner with executive leadership on headcount strategy, run structured technical assessments, and close top talent.
- Engineering Culture & Standards: Foster a learning environment through technical design reviews, peer config/code reviews, blameless post-incident reviews, and support for vendor training/certifications.
- Resource & Capacity Planning: Balance workload, travel, and on-call duties across concurrent data center builds and operations to maintain a sustainable team pace and eliminate single points of failure. Build Delivery: Own US network delivery for AI data center builds from design and Bill of Materials (BOM) through installation, cabling, configuration, validation, and operational handover.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Data Center Construction, Electrical, Operations, and Vendors on schedules, rack layouts, cabling plans, and site readiness.
- Governance & Reporting: Establish standards for change control, documentation, and acceptance testing; track and report on build progress, incident trends, automation coverage, and team health.

- Proven track record of team growth through structured recruiting, technical interviewing, onboarding, and promoting engineers. Deep technical background in large-scale data center networks, including Layer 2/3 (VLANs, VXLAN, BGP EVPN, OSPF, IS-IS) and Clos/ECMP fabric design.
- Data center build execution experience delivering network builds or major footprint expansions against fixed dates in collaboration with facilities and construction teams.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical risks and architectural trade-offs to non-network stakeholders and senior leadership.
- US-based with the ability to travel regularly to Texas data center sites and work flexible hours during critical builds or major incidents.
