Job summary

BBG Ventures, LLC is seeking an AI Governance Review Consultant on a contract basis to support a large US insurer in Chicago, IL. The role is hybrid with two onsite days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) and flexibility for the rest of the week.

You will lead AI governance reviews, coordinate with technology, security, data privacy, legal and business stakeholders, and drive timely, high-quality assessments.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in technology, governance, compliance or risk management.
• Experience in risk reviews or governance workflows preferred.
• Excellent communication and facilitation with business and technical teams.
• Experience building trackers and dashboards to visualize pipeline and cycle times.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for analysis and reporting.
• Curiosity for AI with working knowledge of responsible AI principles.

Responsibilities

• Support AI use-case review process from intake to approval with proper status updates.
• Coordinate with SMEs to incorporate evaluations and ensure coverage.
• Develop schedules, track milestones, and prepare agendas/materials.
• Identify blockers and prompt cross-functional alignment to unblock decisions.
• Pilot process enablers like light automation and dashboards to improve efficiency.
• Prepare stakeholder readouts and meeting materials.
