Job summary

Imagineeer LLC is seeking an AI Governance Lead to ensure responsible adoption of AI-enabled acquisition tools in a federal civilian transformation engagement. The role owns the AI governance checkpoint within the firm's decision methodology, ensuring every AI-enabled capability meets OMB M-25-21 and M-25-22 expectations before pilots or deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS, data science, public policy, or related field.
• 5+ years in technology strategy, data governance, or AI/ML, incl. 3+ years in AI governance/ethics/risk.
• Experience developing AI policies or risk frameworks for a federal agency or regulated org.
• Knowledge of OMB M-25-21, M-25-22, and NIST AI RMF.
• Experience evaluating vendor AI products for accuracy, transparency, data protection.
• Ability to pass contractor security vetting and obtain/maintain a PIV credential.

Responsibilities

• Assess AI governance of candidate tools during market research and re-validate during pilot readiness.
• Validate vendors' AI benefit claims against demonstrations and pilot data.
• Review vendor data handling practices to ensure synthetic or de-identified data usage where applicable.
• Govern AI use throughout pilot and implementation, ensuring no findings rely on AI output alone.
• Define governance controls and human review requirements for expanding AI-enabled document generation and review in the Continuation Roadmap.
• Validate AI-related content in each deliverable and contribute AI considerations to the Roadmap.
• Work with FedRAMP-authorized cloud sandbox and synthetic data interfaces.
