Verizon is seeking a Security Risk & Compliance Lead to shape AI governance and risk management for enterprise and public sector customers. You will bridge traditional security compliance, enterprise risk, and safe deployment of AI-native networks.

Collaborate with VBG stakeholders to enable rapid innovation while protecting data and system integrity. The role focuses on designing risk controls aligned with NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001, and regulatory trends, leading audits, and advising

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six+ years of relevant experience in information security risk management, IT audit, or GRC.
Experience evaluating risks for AI/ML systems, LLMs, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise AI risk management framework.
Lead internal and external security audits and evidence collection.
Evaluate third-party SaaS and AI model vendors for security posture and compliance.
Perform security risk assessments and threat modeling for AI/ML initiatives.
Advise product, engineering and business leaders on security and privacy by design.
Establish metrics and board-level reporting on compliance and AI risks.
