Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking an AI Governance Program Manager to lead enterprise AI governance, policy, and risk frameworks in a financial services environment. The role requires onsite presence in McLean, VA three days per week and close partnership with executive leadership, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Audit.

The position focuses on bridging AI innovation with risk management, ensuring responsible AI adoption and regulatory alignment across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing enterprise governance policies and frameworks.
• Strong collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Audit, IT, and Security teams.
• Knowledge of AI technologies and risk considerations in enterprise deployments.
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive organizational change.
• Excellent communication with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of enterprise AI governance policies, standards, and operating procedures.
• Partner with AI Enablement teams to transition AI concepts into operational frameworks.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Legal, Compliance, IT, and business leaders to align AI initiatives with regulatory requirements.
• Establish governance structures, controls, and oversight for risk management functions.
• Interface with internal and external auditors on AI compliance and audit readiness.
