Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Full Stack AI Engineer to join our growing technology team in Westlake, TX. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications using Python, Node.js, and AWS, while leading and mentoring other engineers in an Agile Scrum setting.

You will build AI-powered NLP and search solutions, develop RESTful APIs, craft data models, and implement containerized deployments with Docker/Kubernetes. Strong collaboration and code quality focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of full-stack software development experience building enterprise applications and APIs.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, REST APIs and Microservices Architecture, AWS Cloud Services.
• Experience building and deploying AI/ML, NLP, and Search-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience with REST, JSON, SOAP and API integrations.
• Strong understanding of GitHub pull request workflows and source control.
• Experience with test automation frameworks, unit testing, and quality engineering practices.
• Proven ability to lead projects, mentor engineers, and drive technical initiatives.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise-grade web applications and APIs using Python and Node.js.
• Build and integrate AI-powered solutions, including NLP, semantic search, and ML capabilities.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and web services supporting business-critical applications.
• Design and optimize data models, databases, and backend services using SQL and cloud-native architectures.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS Cloud environments.
• Implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform.
• Drive CI/CD best practices using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Mentor team members and promote engineering excellence.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing frameworks.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.
• Contribute to solution design discussions and architectural decisions.
