Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Frontier Principal to lead AI transformation strategies and frontier-model evaluation for enterprise clients. The role involves co-designing transformation blueprints with C-suite stakeholders, defining safety benchmarks, and steering the frontier practice’s P&L and learning community.

The position reports to Cognizant’s AI capability leadership, with a compensation range between $150,000 and $175,000 depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• Experience leading AI transformation initiatives at enterprise scale.
• Expertise in frontier-model evaluation, red-team governance and safety policies.
• Proven ability to engage C-suite and manage P&L for a frontier practice.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for AI-augmented delivery or AI-era operating model.
• Co-design AI transformation strategies with C-suite stakeholders; produce blueprints.
• Define evaluation frameworks for frontier models, including safety benchmarks.
• Govern adversarial-AI risk and lead incident-response at the enterprise perimeter.
• Own the Frontier practice direction and P&L; structure outcome-based commercial models.
• Maintain the Frontier learning community and CoE standards.
