Job summary

Hitachi Cyber's Frontier AI Security practice seeks an experienced penetration tester to validate AI security controls across AI-powered systems. You will lead scoping, threat modeling, and adversarial testing, delivering evidence-based findings to strengthen defenses for clients in dynamic AI environments.

This role emphasizes hands-on offensive security across web, API, cloud, and infrastructure with emphasis on AI guardrails, ETL pipelines, and RAG systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on penetration testing across web applications, APIs, mobile apps, cloud environments, or networks.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Strong expertise in at least one offensive security domain (web/API, infrastructure/AD, mobile, or cloud).
• Experience bypassing security controls and articulating attack methodologies clearly.
• Scripting and automation experience with Python; proficient in Linux environments.
• Experience delivering client-facing reports to technical and business stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication and professional deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead scoping and rules of engagement for AI security validation assessments.
• Develop threat models for AI systems using MITRE ATLAS and OWASP LLM Top 10.
• Conduct adversarial testing against AI-powered systems and validate security controls.
• Execute adaptive attack campaigns and assess remediation effectiveness.
• Prepare and present findings and prioritized recommendations to client teams.
• Develop testing methodologies, payload libraries, and retest procedures.
• Collaborate with detection teams to validate monitoring and purple team exercises.
• Contribute to tooling and framework improvements in AI security validation capabilities.
