Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Senior Red Team Engineer to drive frontier AI security assessments across web apps, APIs, networks, cloud, and enterprise systems. The role blends hands-on testing, red team activity, vulnerability research, and tool development.

You will mentor peers, shape security practices, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences. Remote US work is supported with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in information security with 4+ years in penetration testing.
• Experience performing pen tests across web apps, APIs, networks, cloud & enterprise infra.
• OWASP Top 10 knowledge and secure design practices.
• Cloud security assessments in AWS/Azure/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced security assessments across web apps, APIs, networks, cloud, and enterprise systems.
• Identify vulnerabilities, validate controls, and provide actionable remediation guidance.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to security standards and incident response.
