Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Forward-Deployed AI Security Engineer to work directly with client environments, implementing runtime AI security and guardrails. You will install, configure, and defend a suite of AI security tools, design policy-driven controls, and ensure clear executive communications.

The role requires extensive travel, strong English communication, and hands-on cloud and AI security expertise. You will collaborate with security, platform, and AI engineering teams to operationalize

Qualifications

Excellent written and spoken English with ability to briefing executives.
Hands-on deployment experience with listed security platforms in production.
5+ years in cybersecurity engineering, security architecture, or technical consulting.

Responsibilities

Perform AI runtime assessments: inventory AI assets, evaluate prompt/tool traffic, identify attack paths and translate findings into controls.
Deploy and operationalize AI security tools across runtime environments and integrate with existing stacks.
Design the AI control plane: map traffic, define policies for prompts, tool use, MCP calls, and agent actions.
Integrate with SIEM/XDR, IAM, and other security tooling to enable actionable detections without noise.
Red team AI systems, validate guardrails, and perform re-tests post-deployment to close gaps.
