Job summary

Hitachi Cyber is seeking a Frontier AI Security Specialist to help secure AI-powered applications, LLMs, and RAG systems. You will work with specialists from multiple security disciplines to deliver end-to-end AI security engagements across diverse client environments.

We are not recruiting researchers; we want experienced security practitioners applying their expertise to secure modern AI technologies. Training on AI security methodologies and frameworks will be provided.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in one or more cybersecurity disciplines.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field (or equivalent).
• Experience delivering client-facing engagements and presenting findings.
• Strong technical aptitude across complex environments.
• Scripting and automation experience, especially Python.
• Experience within defined scopes of work and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written communication and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in inventorying AI systems, assess risks, and evaluate controls against frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act).
• Design, implement, and validate AI security controls within development processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct threat modeling and adversarial testing of AI systems (prompt injection, jailbreak, data exfiltration, etc.).
• Evaluate AI security guardrails, document findings, and provide remediation recommendations.
• Define AI security monitoring requirements and develop detection use cases with SOC teams.
• Develop AI-specific incident response procedures and facilitate tabletop exercises.
• Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Contribute to internal methodologies, tooling, and AI security services.
• Collaborate with specialists across offensive security, application security, GRC, detection, and IR.
