Zusammenfassung

Cognizant Forward is hiring a Frontier Engineer (AI/Agentic) to help build scalable, secure AI-enabled solutions in a cross-functional pod. You will work with engineers, data scientists, and AI practitioners across cloud-native components and APIs.

Ideal candidates have strong backend/full-stack experience, exposure to AI technologies, and a commitment to responsible AI practices. The role offers a flexible work model and a January 2027 or June 2027 start date.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience building software applications using Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
• Foundational knowledge of software engineering principles including OOP, data structures, algorithms, testing, debugging, and design.
• Exposure to full-stack or backend development concepts, including APIs and databases.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Use AI-assisted development tools to build, test, deploy, and enhance software applications, APIs, and secure systems.
• Support the development of AI-enabled applications and automation solutions.
• Design, develop, and support full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, databases, and cloud components.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, accuracy, and business relevance.
• Contribute to knowledge retrieval, testing, deployment, monitoring, and documentation.
