Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Frontier Engineer (AI/Agentic) to help build scalable, secure AI-enabled solutions. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and AI practitioners in a cross-functional pod to drive real business outcomes.

The role blends modern software engineering with cloud development and AI technologies, emphasizing full-stack or backend capabilities, APIs, databases, and cloud-native components. Start dates are January 2027 or June 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, IS, data science or related technical discipline.
• Experience building software with Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
• Foundational knowledge of OOP, data structures, algorithms, testing, debugging.
• Exposure to full-stack or backend concepts, APIs and databases.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Use AI-assisted tools to build, test, deploy, and enhance software applications, APIs, and secure systems.
• Support AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, and automation solutions.
• Design, develop, integrate, and support full-stack apps, backend services, APIs and cloud components.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality, performance, and relevance to business needs.
• Contribute to knowledge bases, retrieval workflows, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ops support.
