Job summary

Nationwide's Technology team seeks a Delivery Leader to drive end-to-end value delivery across the Commercial Lines portfolio. You will translate strategy into realistic delivery plans, lead work through build, testing, release and stabilization, and ensure outcomes meet value expectations.

This role works across Agile teams, vendors and stakeholders, monitors KPIs, and applies secure engineering practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in MIS, engineering, math, CS, data analytics or equivalent preferred.
Six+ years in technology or related field; three years delivering outcomes/projects.
Experience with Agile delivery and Lean/DevOps practices.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Drives end-to-end delivery of expected business outcomes and benefits.
Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Communicates status, issues, and change management guidance to stakeholders.
Leads contract negotiations, SOW development, and vendor oversight toward goals.
Prioritizes deliverables, manages risks, and governs dependencies.
Delivers status/health reports to drive value delivery and capacity planning.
Works with medium to large project financials.
Mentors others on delivering business outcomes, agile delivery, and Lean.
