Job summary

Ctrl+ seeks a seasoned software engineer to define, test and deliver AI-enabled features for a mission-critical enterprise application in Annapolis Junction, MD. This hybrid role requires in-person work with up to one telework day weekly and an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

You will elicit requirements from customers, translate them into technical specs and Jira epics, perform validation, and collaborate across AI stakeholders and engineers in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.
• Ctrl+ does not sponsor new security clearances.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience and a STEM bachelor's degree.
• Experience with Java or JavaScript frameworks and RESTful microservices.
• Familiar with AWS cloud architecture and deployment.
• Ability to elicit and document requirements; create Jira epics and user stories.
• Awareness of modern AI/ML advances.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document functional requirements with customers.
• Turn requirements into technical specifications, Jira epics and user stories.
• Perform hands-on functional validation of new features.
• Act as technical liaison across engineers, developers and AI stakeholders.
• Present AI approaches and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Take part in Agile delivery across the development lifecycle.
