Job summary

Smartsheet is seeking a Content Designer II to shape UX content for AI-powered features. You’ll partner with product and engineering to craft clear, ethical, human-centered prompts and interfaces across complex workflows.

You’ll drive content strategy, build personas, conduct audits, and champion scalable, locally translatable content as the platform evolves with generative AI. This role supports remote work in Costa Rica.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Content Strategy, Content Design, or UX Writing within a software development organization.
• Experience designing for AI/ML features.
• Proficiency in Figma and design systems.
• Ability to scale content globally across languages and cultures.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design for AI & LLMs: design conversational interfaces, prompt-based interactions, and AI-generated outputs.
• Collaborative Creation: co-create product content with design and product management teams.
• Strategic Content Design: develop content audits, research-driven frameworks, and user personas.
• Information Architecture: design clear navigation and content hierarchies.
• Advocacy & Education: educate partners on Content Design best practices and AI ethics.
• Continuous Learning: stay current on UX trends and Generative AI.
