Job summary

Nscale seeks an Infrastructure Software Engineer for Fleet & Automation. You will help ensure acceptance, performance, and scalability of AI/HPC environments by building the control plane, tooling, and automation that support Fleet, Network, and Observability functions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into robust automation, and develop production-grade Python systems for hardware lifecycle automation leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years building large-scale infrastructure applications.
• Proficient in C, C++, Java, and Python for API design and testing.
• Strong Linux, TCP/IP networking, and configuration management knowledge.
• Experience with distributed systems and infrastructure tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive workflow automation for reliability and scale.
• Own device provisioning, validation, testing, and remediation workflows.
• Design orchestration for hardware lifecycle including GPU nodes and switches.
• Collaborate with infra, platform, and SRE teams to deliver robust automation.
• Set engineering standards for observability and operational excellence.
• Build production-grade Python systems for hardware automation with AI tooling.
