Job summary

Box is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Partner in Chicago to lead end-to-end sourcing for Build (Engineering) and Box Security. You will manage technology contracting, renewals, and supplier performance, leveraging data and AI tools to accelerate cycles while ensuring value and risk controls.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal, and Accounting to drive procurement excellence and process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of progressive experience across strategic sourcing, procurement operations, vendor management, or spend analytics — ideally in high‑growth technology, SaaS, or Cloud environments.
• Experience with SaaS/IaaS contracts, licensing metrics, and commercial negotiation near Legal/InfoSec.
• Strong data cleanliness, structured workflows, and frictionless procurement processes for cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication across Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal, and Accounting.
• AI‑first mindset to modernize procurement operations and reduce manual overhead.
• Bachelor's degree in the specified fields; Zip preferred; 6‑Sigma/Lean Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing lifecycles for mission‑critical cloud software, security tooling, and related services.
• Manage technology contracting, drive proactive renewals, and optimize supplier performance.
• Partner with Legal and InfoSec to finalize agreements and ensure compliance.
• Provide procurement reporting, data insights, and ad hoc process improvements for stakeholders.
