Job summary

Box is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Partner to lead end-to-end sourcing lifecycles for Build (Engineering) and Security. You will manage technology contracts, drive renewals, and optimize supplier performance while delivering analytics and strategic insights across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Data Analysis & Reporting Capabilities: advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tools, data extraction, queries, insights, monthly/quarterly leadership reports.
• Blended Sourcing & Operations Experience: 3–6+ years across strategic sourcing, procurement operations, vendor management, or spend analytics in tech/SaaS/Cloud.
• Comfortable with Technology Contracting: familiarity with SaaS/IaaS licenses, contracting levers; partner with Legal and InfoSec.
• Operational Problem Solver: structured workflows, data cleanliness, frictionless procurement processes for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Communicator: build relationships across Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal, Accounting; communicate data clearly.
• AI-First & Continuous Improvement Mindset: leverage AI/automation to modernize procurement, reduce manual overhead, accelerate delivery.
• Education & Credentials: Bachelor's in relevant field; Zip preferred; Lean Sigma/6-Sigma certification preferred.

• Strong Data Analysis & Reporting Capabilities: You love working with data and have advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tools. You are adept at extracting data, running queries, synthesizing insights, and presenting polished monthly and quarterly reports for leadership.
• Blended Sourcing & Operations Experience: You bring 3–6+ years of progressive experience across strategic sourcing, procurement operations, vendor management, or spend analytics — ideally within high-growth technology, SaaS, or Cloud environments.
• Comfortable with Technology Contracting: You understand technology contracts (SaaS, IaaS, security tools, professional services), licensing metrics, and commercial negotiation levers; you are comfortable partnering with Legal and InfoSec to finalize agreements.
• Operational Problem Solver: You take pride in structured workflows, data cleanliness, and creating frictionless procurement processes for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Communicator: You build strong working relationships across Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal, and Accounting, communicating complex data and commercial terms clearly.
• AI-First & Continuous Improvement Mindset: You are eager to utilize AI and automation to modernize procurement operations, eliminate manual overhead, and accelerate delivery.
• Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with Zip preferred. 6-Sigma, Lean Sigma certification preferred.
