Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Email Security & Network Defense Software Engineer (MTS) to build secure AI-enabled security architectures and automation-first defenses. You will work in a fast-paced environment applying AI-driven development practices to harden enterprise security at scale.

The team focuses on EA/edge protections, CI/CD pipelines, and shared system context to ensure reliable AI-assisted security outcomes. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a large-scale enterprise security environment (as stated).
• Experience building software in Golang, Python, Java, or similar.
• Experience automating infrastructure using scripting (Bash) and Terraform/Ansible.
• Proficient in container-based development and CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of AWS, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Develop security solutions leveraging best development practices and modern AI tools and approaches.
• Build and ship production-grade software with AI as a core part of development workflow.
• Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code automation for secure deployments across global environments.
• Develop and maintain Configuration-as-Code for policy governance via CI/CD pipelines.
• Support and maintain application control policies and secure browser technologies.
• Design systems where AI agents integrate into security workflows and governance.
