Job summary

Baselane is a fintech platform for landlords and real estate investors, backed by experienced teams in financial services and technology. We seek a player-coach QA lead who spends half time building automation and half time guiding the QA team.

You will write and maintain Playwright tests for critical flows, coach testers to automate, and embed tests into CI/CD for AI/LLM-enabled features. This on-site role blends hands-on work with leadership in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software quality with 2+ years leading QA teams.
• Hands-on with automation and test architecture.
• Experience embedding tests into CI/CD and with AI/LLM features.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and maintain Playwright tests covering critical user flows, APIs, and regression suites.
• Coach manual QA testers into automation and set quality standards across engineering and product.
• Embed automated tests into CI/CD and test AI/LLM-powered features with eval sets.
