Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Specialist, Full Stack AI Engineer to join the AI-first, agile product team supporting Global Development Operations in Princeton, NJ. You will build and operate AI-native products with LLMs, agentic workflows, and data-driven intelligence as core design principles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Eng or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java; React JS.
• Experience building Generative/Agentic AI apps (LangChain a plus).
• Experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Bedrock, SageMaker).
• SQL/NoSQL databases and efficient queries.
• Strong problem-solving and communication in a matrix org.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LLM-native and agentic applications as long-lived products with human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Develop and maintain scalable, secure applications using Python/Java and React JS.
• Support, maintain, and improve SaaS and in-house apps for high availability and performance.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders across enterprise platforms.
• Implement microservices-based solutions on AWS.
• Incorporate microservices, APIs, MCPs and event-driven processes.
• Implement CI/CD practices for software applications.
• Monitor model performance, drift, retraining, rollback strategies.
• Investigate issues and plan short- and long-term solutions.
