This role is responsible for developing and operating AI-native products where large language models, agentic workflows, and data‑driven intelligence are the default approach to solving business problems‑not an add‑on. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands‑on programming experience delivering Generative and Agentic AI solutions in a regulated environment.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain LLM‑native and agentic applications as long‑lived products, incorporating human in the loop patterns, continuous learning, monitoring, and governance as part of the standard operating model. Frameworks include Claude, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and LangChain.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, stable, reliable, and secure applications using Python/Java and modern frontend frameworks like React JS. Leverage vibe coding best practices to build production‑grade applications and prototypes faster.
  • Responsible for the support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a portfolio of SaaS and in‑house applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and operational stability.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to manage application support, incident resolution, enhancements, and lifecycle activities across multiple enterprise platforms.
  • Implement microservices‑based solutions on AWS cloud platform.
  • Incorporate microservices, APIs, MCPs and event‑driven processes.
  • Implement CI/CD practices for software applications.
  • Monitor model performance in production and manage model drift, retraining, and rollback strategies.
  • Use critical thinking to investigate issues with systems and data, and identify solutions for short‑term remediation and long‑term strategy.
Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in software development; Pharma/Life Sciences experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java, and a UI framework, preferably React JS
  • Solid understanding of AI concepts and familiarity in developing AI applications.
  • Practical experience building Generative AI and Agentic AI applications using tools like LangChain is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Bedrock, SageMaker, is a plus.
  • Good data analytics skills - SQL/NoSQL databases, able to write efficient queries.
  • Strong technical expertise combined with a demonstrated commitment and passion for continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Must be a relationship builder and capable of working effectively in a highly matrix organization with strong communication, planning, and collaboration skills.
