Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Manager, Full Stack Engineer to join an AI-first, agile product team supporting Global Development Operations. You will design, build, and operate AI-native products using large language models and agentic workflows to augment decision-making and automate execution.

The role requires hands-on engineering leadership, production-grade Generative AI experience in regulated settings, and collaboration with product managers to evolve core workflows across GDO.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of software engineering experience in a regulated environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience implementing Generative AI and Agentic AI applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python and React; Java or TypeScript familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain LLM-native and agentic systems as long‑lived products, with human-in-the-loop patterns and governance.
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to identify AI opportunities to augment decision‑making and automate workflows.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications using Python/Java/Node.js/React JS.
• Support, maintain, and improve a portfolio of SaaS and in-house apps for high availability and performance.
• Collaborate to manage app life cycle, incidents, and enhancements across enterprise platforms.
• Incorporate microservices, APIs, MCPs, event-driven processes, and middleware.
• Investigate issues with data and systems to craft short-term fixes and long-term strategy.
• Implement CI/CD practices for software applications.
• Monitor model performance, drift, retraining and rollback strategies.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.
