Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Manager, Full Stack Engineer to join an AI-first product team supporting Global Development Operations. The role designs, builds, and operates AI-native products where large language models and agentic workflows augment decision-making in a regulated environment.

The candidate will design and maintain scalable applications using Python/Java/Node JS/React JS, oversee CI/CD, monitor model performance, and ensure data governance across enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience in a regulated environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience delivering AI/ML solutions including Generative and Agentic AI applications.
• Strong Python and React proficiency; Java or TypeScript familiarity.
• Solid experience with REST APIs, MCPs, FastAPI, and JSON/XML; knowledge of ML frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain LLM-native and agentic systems as long‑lived products with governance.
• Partner with product managers to identify opportunities to automate and improve workflows.
• Develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable applications using Python/Java/Node JS/React JS.
• Ensure high availability and stable operations for SaaS and in‑house apps.
• Collaborate across enterprise platforms for incident resolution and lifecycle activities.
• Incorporate microservices, APIs, and event‑driven processes within systems.
• Monitor model performance, handle drift, retraining, and rollbacks.
• Implement CI/CD practices and ensure data governance and security compliance.
