Job summary

Blockstream seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customer engineering teams, embedding within projects to deploy Blockstream products in production environments.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales, traveling to customer sites to understand banking environments, solve technical challenges, and deliver production-ready solutions. Excellent English is required.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust to build and ship integrations.
• Experience deploying enterprise software in complex customer environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, cloud technologies, security fundamentals.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers.
• Excellent English skills.

Responsibilities

• AI-first prototyping and building MVPs on short turnarounds.
• Technical pre-sales support, RFP/RFI responses, and scope estimation.
• Own technical delivery from kickoff to production deployment and post-launch support.
• Work with financial institutions to understand processes and environments.
• Configure, deploy, and optimize Blockstream products per designs.
• Deliver admin and end-user enablement sessions for adoption.
• Integrate Blockstream products with core banking and capital markets systems.
• Deploy into controlled environments and ensure security and audit readiness.
• Develop deployment assets, playbooks, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve product issues and improve delivery.
