Job summary

Blockstream is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customer teams, writing code, building tooling, integrations, and configurations to deploy Blockstream products into production.

You’ll ship enhancements back to core products and work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Delivery teams, often onsite with financial institutions to understand processes and solve complex technical challenges.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python, Go or Rust for building integrations and tooling.
• Experience deploying enterprise software within complex customer environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, security fundamentals, and modern architectures.
• Excellent English and strong customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-first prototyping and stand up MVPs for customer engagements.
• Support technical pre-sales, RFP/RFI responses, and SOW scoping.
• Own technical delivery from kickoff to production deployment and post-launch support.
• Work with financial institutions to understand business processes.
• Configure, deploy, and optimize Blockstream products per designs.
• Define success criteria, milestones, and oversee implementation.
• Deliver admin and end-user enablement sessions.
• Integrate with core banking and capital-markets systems.
