Job summary

Blockstream is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer embedded directly inside customer engineering teams. You will write code, build tooling, integrations and configurations to bring Blockstream's products into production, and you will ship what you build back into the core product.

This role collaborates with Product Management, Engineering, Enterprise Sales and Delivery teams to implement and adopt our solutions.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in Software Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Enterprise Software Delivery.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust to build and ship integrations, tooling and services.
• Experience deploying enterprise software within complex customer environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, cloud technologies, security fundamentals.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers during implementation and deployment projects.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer locations across Europe.
• Self-starter who can work independently while managing multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical deployments from kickoff through production deployment and support.
• Build and ship integrations and tooling for customer environments.
• Configure and optimize Blockstream products for production use.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Sales during engagements.
• Lead technical workshops and architecture discussions with customers.
• Provide ongoing customer enablement and post-go-live assistance.
• Develop reusable deployment assets and playbooks.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and configuration challenges.
