Headmatch GmbH & Co. KG is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to shape AI-first software development. You will lead a hands-on, high-performing engineering team and drive agentic processes across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership as Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or Senior Engineer in SaaS.
• H hands-on coding ability and willingness to contribute to features.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, TS/React, and AWS cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, testing, and scalable architectures.
• Experience guiding tooling transformations and agile processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in EU time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross‑functional team of ~8 software engineers and mentor them.
• Contribute to code, architecture discussions, and technical decisions.
• Drive AI-native and agentic software development workflows.
• Promote modern engineering practices using AI-assisted tooling.
