Job summary

Amazon in New York is looking for a software engineer to own the design and delivery of an AI-first campaign creation system powering omni-channel ad buying across video, audio, and display. You will work on a mix of established and greenfield projects, updating architecture to scale 10X for the future while advancing AI Performance+ and Brand+ Tactics for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver working features spanning the full software lifecycle from customer needs to deployment and operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, UX, data science, and partner teams.
• Demonstrate operational excellence in all work.
• Provide active code reviews and feedback to peers, including more senior engineers.
• Support team operations and drive root-cause analysis and improvements.
