Genesys is seeking an AI and Experience Orchestration Director (Sales Overlay) to lead AI-powered customer experience initiatives and orchestrate complex opportunities with senior stakeholders. The role focuses on strategy, deal shaping, and cross-functional collaboration to drive pipeline and revenue growth across global accounts.

The position requires deep AI capabilities, pre-sales experience, and a track record of leading enterprise engagements with MEDDPICC frameworks, while guiding field

Qualifications

• Strong subject matter expertise in AI-powered customer experience
• Experience in sales overlay, specialist, or subject matter expert functions
• 10 to 12 years of experience in software, cloud, or AI related roles
• Proven capability in AI powered customer experience and conversational AI solutions
• Ability to influence without direct authority and collaborate effectively
• Experience coordinating and executing AI proofs of concept
• Ability to create effective territory and account strategies that support growth objectives
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills
• Effective presentation skills with the ability to serve as a compelling subject matter expert
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams across teams

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced expertise in AI and lead discussions with stakeholders
• Engage with senior/C-level leaders and orchestrate opportunities across teams
• Influence deal strategy with account executives for pipeline and forecasting
• Drive field execution of programs across the Genesys AI portfolio
• Serve as a trusted subject matter expert and model best practice sales motions
• Support positioning, presentations, pricing, proposals, and materials for Genesys AI
• Lead customer workshops shaping AI use cases and pilot opportunities
• Capture customer insights and partner with cross functional teams
• Identify strategic priorities and AI-led opportunity pathways
