• Proven ability to synthesize competitive landscape, industry trends, analyst sentiment, and media narratives into sharp, strategic recommendations and storytelling.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complexity and thrive in fast-moving environments with bias toward action and real-time iteration.
• Strong track record building trust with C-level and senior product leadership; ability to partner, not just execute.
• Demonstrated expertise managing external PR and agency partners.

Responsibilities

• Launch & positioning strategy for Cisco Cloud Control and platform innovations; shape launches, messaging, and media strategy.
• Media relations: build relationships with top-tier media, pitch stories, secure coverage, drive message pull-through.
• Strategic counsel to product, product marketing, and executive leadership with external market perspective.
• Thought leadership and narrative building to connect product innovation to industry transformation.
• Cross-functional collaboration with regional teams; balance centralized strategy with local nuance.
• Partner and customer storytelling to leverage extended networks for storytelling.
• Execute end-to-end campaigns, manage timelines, vendor relationships, and multi-channel delivery; use AI tools to accelerate workflows.
