Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Model Engineering to drive value from Databricks-based AI solutions for clients. You will lead AI engineering, data pipelines, and production-grade models across diverse client engagements.

You’ll collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and cloud engineers in a hybrid model, guiding design through deployment, governance, and ongoing optimization on the Databricks platform. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
6–10 years of full-time AI, data science, and/or machine learning experience.
2–4 years of experience directly managing technical teams.
3–4 years of experience building and deploying production AI/ML solutions on the Databricks platform.
Databricks Certification with Data Engineer/ML/Generative AI combinations preferred.
Strong skills in Python, PySpark, and/or Scala.

Responsibilities

Lead AI workstreams from solution design through production deployment on Databricks.
Lead teams building data pipelines and AI solutions (ML, GenAI, agentic AI) on Databricks.
Collaborate with client teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Apply product-centric development: define user outcomes and roadmaps.
