Qualifications

• 5+ years in ML/AI engineering or applied data science.
• 1–3+ years of people management with team delivery responsibility.
• Hands-on production experience with LLMs, agentic workflows, document extraction, or classical ML systems.
• Proficiency in Python and modern AI stack (LangChain, vector DBs, prompts, eval tooling).
• Experience deploying AI systems in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present design docs to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing AI engineering team of 4–8 engineers.
• Own end-to-end delivery of AI features and systems within your domain.
• Partner with a product manager to translate customer problems into a roadmap.
• Contribute to system design, code reviews, and debugging when it matters.
• Set and uphold engineering standards for testing, observability, and deployment.
• Build and operate production AI systems including LLM-powered features and ETL pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise AI platform capability.
