Job summary

Service Express invites an Artificial Intelligence Engineering Intern to support AI development, ML model implementation, and solution management. You will collaborate across teams to design scalable AI applications and contribute to decision-making and business performance.

You will work under senior engineers, following SDLC practices, and gain hands-on experience with Python, Spark, and Azure AI tools while documenting and sharing progress with the team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Python (Spark, pandas) and SQL.
• Understanding of AI methods including supervised/unsupervised learning, regression, and neural networks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, especially Azure (Synapse, ML, Data Factory, Functions).
• Familiarity with SOLID, OOD, and Domain Driven Design concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to translate business requirements into AI solutions.
• Develop high-performing, reusable code following industry standards under supervision.
• Support SDLC phases from requirements to maintenance.
• Assist in building pipelines using Python, Spark, Azure ML, and OpenAI.
• Work with data analysts/engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot AI performance issues and production problems.
• Maintain knowledge of advancements in AI, ML, and data engineering.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
• Create documentation related to internship work.
