Job summary

Park Place Technologies invites applications for the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Intern - Summer 2027 at our Cleveland headquarters in Highland Heights, OH. This hybrid internship provides hands-on experience in building and deploying AI solutions.

You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design scalable AI applications, develop reusable code with Python, Spark and pandas, and support the SDLC from design to deployment using Azure ML and OpenAI.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in CS, AI, or Data Science.
• Strong Python and SQL foundations.
• Familiarity with Spark and pandas.
• Exposure to cloud platforms especially Azure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to design scalable AI applications.
• Develop high-performing, reusable code following best practices.
• Support SDLC phases from design to maintenance.
• Build data pipelines using Python, Spark, Azure ML, OpenAI.
• Work with data analysts and engineers to translate requirements.
• Troubleshoot AI performance issues and production problems.
• Keep up-to-date with AI and data engineering advances.
• Create documentation for internship work.
