Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an AI Engineer to design, prototype, and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into existing software architectures, applying large models to real mission workflows in a hybrid Annapolis Junction, MD role.

You will design multi-agent workflows, integrate foundation models via APIs, and work with system and software engineers to deliver robust, auditable AI solutions for analysts and reports. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development skills with production-quality code.
• Experience building apps on top of existing LLMs via APIs.
• Designing multi-agent or multi-step AI workflows and prompts.
• Experience integrating AI into software architectures (REST, microservices).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of AI-driven solutions and multi-agent workflows.
• Integrate foundation models into architectures via APIs and orchestration.
• Design prompts and workflows to automate tasks and guide agent pipelines.
• Develop testing, evaluation, and validation for AI outputs.
• Collaborate with system engineers, software developers, and domain experts.
• Stay current with LLM and agentic AI advances and apply them to systems.
