This on-site role focuses on developing AI and automation to support security engineering, infrastructure operations, and systems administration. The engineer will design AI-enabled tools, build ML-driven workflows, and collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with national security objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing automation or AI/ML solutions using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Experience supporting security operations, infrastructure management, enterprise systems, or systems administration environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement AI-enabled tools and automation solutions for security engineering and infrastructure operations.
• Build and maintain machine learning and rule-based automation workflows for monitoring, analysis, and incident handling.
• Develop solutions to improve system monitoring, log analysis, patch verification, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with security engineers, infrastructure teams, and system admins to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Support the integration of AI/ML models, data pipelines, and automation scripts into enterprise environments.
• Analyze operational data to identify patterns, improve visibility, and support proactive responses.
