Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, IT, CS or related field or completed within the last 12 months.
Strong interest in IT Security.
Ability to communicate ideas in both a technical and user-friendly language.
Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving in high-pressure environments.
Familiarity with Python and PowerShell scripting.
Exposure to REST APIs, microservices, CI/CD, Git, Docker, and cloud providers.

Responsibilities

Monitor the environment for suspicious and malicious activity using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) toolsets.
Document security events and incidents within internal ticketing system.
Analyze cyber threat intelligence reports.
Investigate suspicious email submissions.
Assist in implementing, operating and maintaining mission critical cybersecurity tools.
