Job summary

Bios Life is a technology‑enabled healthcare company redefining personalized cancer screening through genomics, imaging, and EHR data. We seek an AI Engineer to build production ML systems that translate research into actionable clinical insights, supporting cancer risk stratification and personalized surveillance in a clinician‑led team.

You will work in Boston at our in‑person office, collaborating with clinicians, data scientists, product leaders, and software engineers to advance AI

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and/or JAX.
• Experience building ML pipelines and deploying models in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar).
• Experience with containerized development environments (Docker).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: Git, testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, evaluate, and deploy ML models for cancer biomarker detection, risk stratification, and longitudinal monitoring.
• Build scalable ML pipelines covering data ingestion, feature engineering, training, and model serving.
• Develop cloud‑based ML infrastructure using AWS or GCP and leverage GPU/accelerated computing.
• Apply robust engineering practices including version control, testing, CI/CD, and containerized deployments.
