Job summary

Crypto Finance, headquartered in the Prime Tower in Zurich, seeks a Data & Analytics leader to push the company’s AI strategy forward: identifying use cases across departments, engineering production‑grade AI and automation solutions, and helping to build the firm's AI governance practice. You will contribute to the data platform underpinning Finance, Operations, and Risk reporting, on which AI work sits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience with shipped work.
• Production experience with LLM applications including structured extraction and agentic patterns.
• Strong Python and production-grade coding experience.
• Working knowledge of evaluation for LLM apps (eval sets, tests, observability).
• Familiarity with Dagster, Airflow, or similar orchestrators and transformation frameworks (SQLMesh, dbt).
• Solid SQL knowledge and cloud experience, ideally GCP and BigQuery.
• Curiosity about regulated environments and the discipline they require.
• Professional proficiency in English (German a plus).
• Eligible to work in Switzerland or EU/EFTA.

Responsibilities

• Identify, scope, and prioritize AI use cases across Compliance, Trading, Operations, Legal, Sales, and Finance.
• Engineer production data solutions: deterministic automations, AI agents, and RAG systems.
• Build an innovation lab to prototype and evaluate new use cases.
• Maintain prompt and skill libraries as reusable, versioned assets.
• Maintain firm-wide AI inventory and run the AI approval process operationally.
• Review new AI initiatives; advise on scope, risk, and design choices.
• Contribute to ELT pipelines on Dagster + SQLMesh + dlt stack for AI workloads.
• Build data substrates: feature views, document indexes, and structured event tables.
