You will own agent-driven tools and workflows end to end, from design through deployment, with a focus on trustworthy behavior and real data. Collaborate with users to ship features quickly, iterate on feedback, and deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years shipping production software with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience deploying an agent in a commercial production environment.
• Experience building data-dense analytics products.
• Ability to iterate quickly with real-world data in front of users.

Welltower Inc is hiring a hands-on AI Engineer, Product to build and evolve the product surface that brings AI capabilities to teams across the organization. This role partners closely with users and delivers agent-driven tools and interfaces that perform reliably on real data, with fast iteration based on direct feedback.

Role Overview

You will own agent-driven tools and workflow surfaces end to end, from design through deployment. The focus is on trustworthy agent behavior in practical product contexts, with iterative improvements informed by live use.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship the product surface, including agent-driven tools, interfaces, and workflow tooling used for day-to-day work and decision-making
• Design, tune, and evaluate agent behavior so outputs are trustworthy enough for users to act on
• Work embedded with users to translate real workflows into working software operating on real data
• Deliver live, useful outputs quickly, then iterate based on direct feedback
• Create configurable, reusable surfaces that accelerate future builds instead of producing one-off rewrites
• Use a live demo on real data as the working specification, rather than relying on a lengthy requirements document

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years shipping production software, with the depth to own a product surface end to end
• Experience deploying an agent in a commercial production environment
• Experience building data-dense, decision-support, or analytics products where users act on the output
• Ability to move quickly with messy real-world data and iterate in front of users
• Based in the NYC metro area and able to work on-site

Compensation

Salary: USD 160,000 - 220,000 per year.
