Job summary

Bain Capital is seeking an AI Engineer in Boston to advance multi-faceted AI initiatives within the NAPE private equity platform. You will design, prototype, and deploy AI solutions that streamline sourcing, diligence, and portfolio analytics, collaborating with deal teams and AI practitioners across Bain Capital.

You will explore modern AI tools, build scalable data pipelines, and champion adoption of AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI solutions to streamline investment processes.
• Prototype and evaluate AI tools (LLMs, agents, data enrichment, automation).
• Collaborate with investment professionals to identify high-value use cases and deliver tools.
• Share learnings and build common AI tools across Bain Capital businesses.
• Manage pilots with AI vendors and lead implementations when appropriate.
• Maintain and extend internal data pipelines, API connections, and tool integrations.
