Job summary

nou Systems, Inc. (nSI) is seeking an AI Engineer to join the Technical Solutions Division and JSTC2 Team in Huntsville, Alabama. You will build generative-AI powered software for warfighting training, surfacing critical scenario information for end users in real time.

You’ll prototype LLM capabilities, integrate them into a multidisciplinary software stack, and operate in an Agile/SAFe environment delivering features every 10 weeks with a strong emphasis on code quality and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master’s or higher preferred.
• 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with 2+ years focused on LLMs or similar generative models.
• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Prototype new LLM-powered capabilities and integrate them into Government Off-the-Shelf software.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including frontend, backend, and DevOps to deliver features.
• Operate in an Agile/SAFe environment with 10-week delivery cadences.
• Communicate decisions with quantitative backing and collaborate across teams.
