nou Systems, Inc. (nSI) in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking an AI Engineer to join the Technical Solutions Division and JSTC2 Team to build generative‑AI powered software for warfighting training exercises.

You’ll surface the right information when needed and integrate LLM capabilities into our existing government software. You will work with a multidisciplinary team in an Agile/SAFe environment, delivering capabilities on a 10‑week cadence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ML/CS/SE or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years AI/ML engineering experience with 2+ years in LLMs or generative models.
• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Prototype and integrate LLM-powered capabilities into existing government software.
• Collaborate across front-end, back-end, and on-prem data exploration teams.
• Balance cutting-edge research with production‑quality, testable code.
• Deliver capabilities on a 10‑week cadence within an Agile/SAFe framework.
• Elicit end-user needs and convert them into actionable work items.
