nou Systems, Inc. is hiring an AI Engineer to design, train, and deploy ML models across defense-focused domains in Huntsville. You will contribute to data preparation, model development, and MLOps pipelines while communicating results to stakeholders.

The role emphasizes hands-on deep learning work, strong Python skills, and the ability to work across diverse teams in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Academic, internship, or professional experience with AI development (RL, XAI, LLM).
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with deep learning models (supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning) using PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Jax.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Identify and design training data sets for ML models.
• Implement and customize ML models from open literature.
• Develop MLOps pipelines for end-to-end ML workflows.
• Visualize and communicate results in written and oral form.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and work effectively with teammates.
