Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an AI and Data Science Engineer II to design, deploy, and optimize ML/AI solutions for government and public sector clients. You will develop data pipelines, model training workflows, and production components while collaborating with engineers, product stakeholders, and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a quantitative field.
• 3+ years of professional experience designing, developing, deploying, or supporting ML/AI/advanced analytics solutions.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance and ability to maintain it for duration of employment.
• Travel approximately 20% based on client work.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy ML/AI solutions for business and client use cases.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, model training workflows, and production-grade components.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify patterns and support model development and validation.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product stakeholders, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor model and application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements for accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain AI-enabled capabilities within the AI & Data platform and software delivery lifecycle.
