Job summary

AutoStore is seeking an AI Engineer – HW Development in Atlanta to build AI-based solutions that accelerate HW design review and testing. You’ll connect Jira, Excel, ERP, and design/test systems to provide clean data for AI tools and create agentic workflows across hardware projects.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience delivering data/AI solutions and can design HW systems from concept to delivery, with CAD/simulation familiarity and strong collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience delivering data and AI solutions.
• Experience designing HW solutions from concept to delivery.
• Familiar with HW design tools and concepts (CAD, simulation).
• Ability to create data structures that enable AI tools.
• Ability to connect Jira, Excel, ERP via APIs.

Responsibilities

• Connect and structure hardware data sources (Jira, Excel, ERP, and design/test systems) for AI use.
• Automate material generation and consolidation to shorten design review cycles.
• Produce design review materials, checklists, and structured outputs.
• Generate summaries, forecasts, and burndown charts from project data.
• Build agentic workflows tracking hardware module status and reminders across the development process.
• Support engineers embedding AI into distributed systems (robots, cameras, grids, ports).
