Job summary

AutoStore is seeking an AI Engineer to develop AI-driven solutions that boost the HW engineering team's productivity in Atlanta. You will model data, build AI agents, and create automated workflows to accelerate design reviews and testing.

The role reports to the VP of HW NPD and Innovation Engineering in Atlanta, GA, and involves connecting tools like Jira and ERP to create clean data, generating consistent design materials, and delivering actionable insights from project history.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of experience delivering data and AI solutions
• Ability to create data structures that facilitate AI tools
• Ability to connect existing tools via APIs to push/pull data
• Ability to produce structured output generation for design review materials
• Familiar with design tools and processes to deliver hardware solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or on a team
• Excellent communication skills across organizational levels
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

• Connect and structure hardware data sources (Jira, Excel, ERP, and design/test systems) so AI tools have clean data
• Reduce design review preparation and execution from weeks to hours by automating material generation
• Generate documentation, design review materials, and structured outputs (checklists, tables, risk assessments)
• Produce summaries, forecasts, and burndown charts from historical project data
• Build agentic workflows that track hardware module status and automate reminders and summaries
• Support engineers developing physical AI in distributed systems (robots, cameras, grids, ports)
